GENDER-RESPONSIVE AND MOTHER-FRIENDLY INFORMATION

Facilities and Acommodations

During the training program, SEAQiM provides the following:

  1. Accommodation at the BBGTK DIY dormitory, equipped with air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom, and twin beds per room. Please bring your own toiletries and other personal care items to ensure your comfort during your stay.
  2. A dedicated lactation room, easily accessible for participants, available from 08:00 to 16:00 WIB, equipped with a breast milk refrigerator and comfortable seating.
  3. Clean and easily accessible restrooms at the venue, complete with mirrors, covered trash bins, tissue, hand soap, and air freshener.
  4. Accessible drinking water, with refill points located in front of the training room.
  5. Healthy meals and beverages provided throughout the program, served in the Alpha/Beta Dining Room.
  6. Smoking is permitted only in the designated smoking areas: the green space within the Lambda Dormitory area, the parking area west of the SEAQiM building, and the outdoor corridor outside the Beta Dining Hall.

Worship Facilities

During the training program, SEAQiM provides the following:

  • The nearest prayer room for Muslim participants is Mushola Al Khwarizmi, featuring separate and enclosed ablution areas for men and women, and a clean environment.

Attire or Dress Code

Participants are expected to observe the following dress code throughout the training program:

  • Participants are required to wear formal, modest, neat, and comfortable clothing throughout the training.
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding mothers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing or use maternity and lactation-supportive accessories.
  • Traditional attire is required for the Understanding SEAMEO Countries Culture session.

During the training program, SEAQiM provides the following health and safety support:
